HEAT Thermal Modelling Software

HEAT is a PC-program for three-dimensional transient and steady-state heat transfer. The program is along with the two-dimensional version HEAT2 validated to conform to the requirements of EN ISO 10211, allowing onward calculation of, psi values (Ψ) for linear thermal bridging.

Software Features

  • Easy to learn and use, rapid input due to an integrated pre-processor with automatic mesh generation both steady-state and dynamic analysis can be conducted seamlessly.
  • Extensive graphical outputs of 2D and 3D of geometrical models including information:

- Material properties
- Numerical mesh
- Boundary conditions
- Temperature field
- Heat flow arrays and isotherms.

  • Boundary conditions may be a given heat flow, or a temperature with a surface resistance.
  • Material properties may easily be edited and added, to the Library Several material list are available. The default list contains about 200 common building materials, with an expanded list available with over 1200 material
