Stroma Certification’s working partnership with the Greenworks Training Academy.

Stroma Certification is delighted to announce their working partnership with Greenworks Training Academy to deliver renewable technology and sustainability training.

This training will provide clear routes for the Saint-Gobain building distribution groups clients to become members of Government approved certification schemes that encourage high standards in sustainable construction and refurbishment.

Stroma Certification, as the leading provider of training courses across a range of Building Regulation, legislative and renewable energy based compliance disciplines, proves to be an excellent match for Greenworks Training Academy. Offering Jewson, Graham, Gibbs & Dandy and Minster customers, routes to governmental approved schemes for Microgeneration Certification (MCS) and Competent Persons Schemes (CPS) that ensure all notifications, inspections and installations of the microgeneration technologies; solar photovoltaics (PV), solar thermal and heat pumps are produced to consistently high standards.

The combination of renewable technology training courses available, based at the purpose built Academy in Birmingham are designed to provide either an introduction for those considering pursuing a career in renewable energy or to meet the full City & Guilds qualification criteria for solar PV, solar thermal and heat pump design, installation and maintenance.

Stroma have also developed an overview course of legislative compliance and product related scope, that details how Part L integrates with SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) and thermal modelling all of which are new for Building Regulation compliance, to enable Greenworks to offer a truly bespoke course tailored for their clients needs.

Marcus Jefford Greenworks Academy Manager comments: “We have already seen numerous customers through the door eager to discover the parameters of renewable technologies and the interest from our staff across all brands to update their skills and knowledge with compliance requirements has been very well received.
