Residential EPC
Stroma has extensive experience producing domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), required for compliance with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). An EPC rates the energy performance of a building on a scale of A to G, where A is the highest level of energy efficiency, and one must be produced whenever a building is constructed, sold or let.
With a client base ranging from housing associations, letting agents, contractors and developers to private landlords, owners and occupiers, Stroma’s EPC team can assess any residential development, from single dwellings through to major construction projects and multiple property portfolios.
Our accredited energy assessors are qualified to undertake domestic energy assessments for both new and existing buildings. They evaluate proposed construction details or carry out a detailed survey of the building, perform the necessary calculations and generate the certificate, before lodging it on the government database, Landmark. The EPC is accompanied by an Advisory Report (AR) which outlines energy-saving measures and recommendations for securing a higher EPC rating.
