Commercial EPC
As the first company to lodge a live commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), Stroma is ideally placed to deliver compliance with this mandatory element of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). An EPC provides a building with an energy performance rating on a scale of A to G, where A is the most energy efficient, and the EPBD stipulates that one be obtained whenever a non-domestic building is constructed, rented or sold.
Stroma’s EPC team has worked with a diverse range of clients, from national and regional property consultants, major car manufacturers and corporate recovery specialists to auctioneers, retailers and major developers and contractors.
Our accredited energy assessors are qualified to conduct non-domestic energy assessments for both new and existing buildings. They can evaluate proposed construction details or carry out a detailed survey of the building, perform the necessary calculations and generate the certificate, before lodging it on the government database, Landmark. The EPC is also accompanied by an Advisory Report (AR) which outlines energy-saving measures and recommendations for improving the EPC rating.
