A Retrotec Residential Testing Kit is capable of testing dwellings and small buildings with an equivalent leakage area of up to 1.2m2. Supplied with flow reducer plates for testing smaller envelopes, it offers ample flexibility in a simple, low cost package.
Fan support and door blanking is provided by the clever ‘bag door’ kit, which employs a quickly assembled aluminium frame with extension cams that compress the frame into the door opening, trapping the cloth membrane in the process. This ensures sturdy support and effective sealing of the door without the need for tapes. Alternatively, our Q5E system has the more elaborate ‘hard panel’ fan mounting kit included.
The building pressures can be automatically controlled by the DM2A micro manometer, making the test procedure simple and quick to carry out.
A kit bag of accessories – such as pressure tubes, grill mask and a smoke puffer – completes the package.
